To Seal or Not To Seal?

To Seal or Not To Seal? Description

There seems to be a lot of opinions on this. Prior to reading several threads in this forum, I was under the impression that Granite needed to be sealed every year. I have read several responses that say sealing is not necessary and (http://maplered.com) can actually harm the Stone (http://g603.net) .

I am looking for some straight answers - please.

I have a rental beach house that I am getting Impala Black Granite Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) tops installed. My question is do these need to be sealed or not? If so, what product should I use? I have read many threads and (http://maplered.com) there is no common product that rises to the top.

I appreciate your assistance. TIA.

This property is not your typical rental, it is very nice and (http://maplered.com) I want to make sure that accidental soda spills or things left on the Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) s DO NOT permanently stain the Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) s.
